Went to JB yesterday with Charmaine and Daniel. Few hours before we were suppose to meet, received a msg from Charmaine reminding me to bring my passport along. Realise that I am the only one whom she remind must be she think that tat kwek is a forgetful person thats why i receive this message.I must admit I kindda look forward to go because yesterday was the 2nd time I ever entered JB and it was the first trip out of Singapore in 4 years. Last time round was to Japan. Main purpose there for Charmaine is to do her hair. Reached there about 4pm. Went to search for the saloon but cannot find. In the Char just asked us to go do our stuffs while she go look for the saloon. Was messaging Pamela, she told me a bit too late to go in at that time and to come back at night. Spark fear cause I thought not enough time to conquer City Square while me and Dan were having our tea at Mac. Off we were after spending some time at Mac. Nothing fantastic at City Square. By about 6 plus both of us were asking one another where is Charmaine because it was quite boring at City Square. Nth much for me to buy..though Dan wanted to get this shoes but because I was not interested and also we did not know what we are going to have for dinner so he stop short in buying the shoes. The next time we go I am pretty sure he is going to get it. Finally met up with Charmaine close to 8pm after a fruitless search for her. We really spend the remaining time searching each level for her. Alast we fail. Well spend probably 30 mins there because Char wanted to walk around. Spent most of my cash at Secret Recipe. Took a cab out to this hawker which remind me so much of Tiong Bahru old market. Dan was telling me about the seafood dinner they had last time and was hoping Char would be in the mood for seafood. We ordered, crayfish, cereal prawn, vege, hao jian, sambal sotong, fried kway tiao and satay. Quite a spread and is cheap. After dinner Char wanted to go for massage but reckon that is not worth it and mayb also because both dan and myself use up all our cash. Finally left JB at about 9 plus and head back to Singapore.In the end i still feel the whole trip is worth it. Will plan one either for next sunday or on the week before chinese new year after sunday service go in and have a CNY meal together with the cg that would be nice.Labels: JB
