was serving for sunday service. pst tan preached a very good msg the sermon was very very long. 67 slides altogether. the previous night i was up till quite late and was super tired when i was serving. as usual went to buy a tube of mentos to try to keep awake.
abt 10 mins before service was abt to start the laptop crash. my ic was outside having breakfast. so my ministry mates asked me what to do. deal with the running announcement first and tried to see what we can do. in the end we failed, call my ic in and we really wow have a tough time like what my ic said "fire fight". 3 mins before svc start we were still fire fighting. 3 sec before svc start we were almost done. wah really is the grace of God that we manage to run the service smoothly. i was telling charmaine the other day that my team is consider young wah but i really love the team effort put in on sunday we just show strength and unity as a team. nv panic is just like we knew that we will still run the service as it is.
i dunno but i just feel that the team on sunday probably grow to another level. makes it more and more exciting to serve with them.
was saying that pst was preaching a very long msg. was doing director on sunday. really had to tell myself to be sharp and focus. cannot lose concentration. because pst skip the points and then return to the point again wah is a real test. because ever since my IC spoke to me abt being consistent and also wanting us to grow and improve so that next time when juslin is doing sermon is not just him that can do the directing but we can also do it. so i purpose in my heart i wanna take this chance to improve and show that yes i can do it also and not buckle under pressure. i think one of the day i must email my IC ask him how have i been doing.
after service went for fellowship with my cg before a few of us went to catch jumper together with charmaine. i was super tired. i actually struggle to keep awake during the whole movie probably only the last 15 mins i manage to keep awake. this is the first time in a long time i actually slept in a movie the other time was a few years back me and my twin bro we went to catch a oscar movie marathon. in the end i slept for the last movie.
before the movie i told char i will sit beside u so when u sleep i will make sure i move my shoulder and hit ur head so u will be awake. then she retort me and say u then better not sleep. haha in the end i was the one that was trying to keep awake. i mus say i caught the movie! is jus that my eyes shut for 5 sec and this ang moh beside me keep on jumping on the chair which will wake me up. so thanks to her i also manage to keep myself awake. the movie i feel is so so even though yesterday i read that it was the number 1 movie in US.
after the movie all of us departed and head for home. guess everybody was tired also. anyway i also had to leave for home if not my head will roll got mini celeb with family. wonder where my mom bought the cake from. is nice. ok must go ask her.
yes! finally got heroes season 2 and a half from pamela yesterday. hmm have some prob watching from my com but no prob watching from my laptop. time to do some catching up. really appreciate pam i mean she can need not lend me but maybe because of my constant bugging thats why she bo bian lend me i dunno haha. thanks to her my weekdays are no longer mundane.
yesterday muster up all my courage and did something which i probably will nv thought of doing. my close friends also don't believe that i will do it also. whatever the reply is..at least i know i can in a sense die with no regret.
