Finally back from camp. Super tired not just physically but also mentally. Another long week for me. Tomorrow is the only day I have to rest. Friday after work most likely going to meet up with Charmaine and some of the guys for movie, Sat evangelistic cg, Sun need to serve and after prayer meeting going to JB with Charmaine not too sure who else going.On the first day at Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Sec, was appointed team leader. Started the day quite awful couldn't really hype myself up. However as the day drag on we had our first game "human monopoly" which required us to run around the school. That game help us break the ice with one another and bond the group. After human monopoly, I proceed to wash up and report to the auditorium for chorus board. For all 3 days, I was working with Naresh and Daniel. First session was with bro Darren. So I was in the room preparing and this cgl call Rong Rong but call her by her christian name Angel help me with the first day of Chorus board. Enjoy working with her because she is very helpful and she leaves a very good impression. Was so tired during ministry session my eyes keep on shutting while I was still flashing the song. After the session I felt that I did a not so bad job until after the session when Charmaine came to talk to me. Than I realise is not that simple and I took my "job" too simple. Stay back to make changes for the day 2 morning session. Stayed up till 1 plus with Naresh and Daniel to prepare for the morning session with Charmaine and finish supper before heading back to rest.Day 2 woke up early to shower and to avoid the crowd. Skip breakfast and 5 BX to set up for the session. This time round it was much better and I also learn to take the lighting factor into consideration. Manage to do a not so bad job for session 2. The pressure was there because it is Charmaine who is preaching and all 3 of us wants to do a great job for Charmaine. Not only that Charmaine is someone who is very very sharp and require us to give our best and run the session with execellence. Next up was briefing for sentosa. This is first time I have to double up as video crew as well. Learnt quite a few new things from Naresh. The next time when the chance come again I want to learn how to do sound as well! Pack up as fast as we can before we head to Sentosa for "amazing race" and "clash of the titans". Night session with brother Gabriel left me quite exhausted. We reached back Kuo Chuan at 6.10pm finished wash up at 7pm before we went to report for duty. Prepared some slides for brother Gabriel and doing some stuffs. The next thing I know doors were open and people came in to fill the audi and enjoy the talent nite where every team have to put up a 3 mins advertisement. Thought that I could use that time to finish up what I have not finish. But I was so wrong because I was asked to double up as lighting crew. But overall the meeting was quite good. Had plans to sleep really early. After packing the audi up I was called to attend a short meeting with Charmaine and the other leaders in the zone. After the meeting Charmaine say quick go to sleep, you look like you going to collapse. Haha indeed I was very tired. The last 4 days I had only had altogther 10 hours of sleep. Decide to join up with my team for a short fellowship before lights off. Because most of the time I have to serve thus I felt bad I could not reall interact with them. 15 mins before lights off Shang called me and we chatted for a little while and to my horror at 1.45am all team leaders were called to gather at the hall to throw in names for best male/female camper and give reasons for best team spirit. In the end I only manage to go back the dorm at 3am. By than I totally knock out. Sleep all the way till 7.15am.Finally the last day of camp. Had a last house game in the hall before a short breakfast with my team and it was time to report to audi for the last time for prize presentation and show a video montage (dunno right spelling anot). Round up the whole camp by taking photo with Char and having lunch with her at junction 8 before everyone from cg goes our seperate ways.Felt that the camp thought me alot. This should be the "toughest" after Emerge. Learnt some stuffs from Naresh as well. Even the ZS were friendly, before each of their session started they would come into the room where I am working and thank me for the work. And also to my team Jaguar they really make leading them so easy. Even though I was missing most of the time I feel they made it easy for Val to lead them and I could not asked for a better team to lead. And of course glad that my 3 days there I was able to let Angel learnt something more about Chorus Board and hopefully it help her for her own zone meeting.
