Family - a group of people who are generally not blood relations but who share common attitudes, interests, or goals and, frequently, live togetherLove - affectionate concern for the well-being of othersWell recently been thinking howcome so many people are no longer interested in coming for cg fellowship. People who use to be so excited to come for cg fellowship but as of now they are no longer interested in any activities plan by their cg (family). They would rather be found with their other friends in church. Well I won't say that is a crime not to come for cg fellowship but I am shocked that the "excuses" they are giving. Sometimes I really wonder how does each individual see/treat one another in the cg. Has cg and service been reduce to just being another religious ritual another religious obligation in this "busy" world we are living and after all this meeting we will no longer be found with the cg for fellowship.I am appalled that people rather go and enjoy themself with other church friends than to go and visit a member's grandma who is lying in the hospital. Appalled that because of opinion or dislike certain members in the cg and thus that explain their disappearance from fellowship. Ain't we suppose to be an overcomer and prove others wrong about us?There was this song popularise by Black Eyed Pea "Where Is The Love". Indeed where is the love for one another in the cg. The love that enable us to call one another brother and sister in Christ. The love that could be seen in fellowship. Beside we are called to be a family to love one another the way Jesus loves us.Are we so caught up with our own comfort zone/life/etc that we can't even squeeze out time for cg fellowship? I don't think anybody is exempted from this issue even if is cgl/pcgl. Is all through fellowship that we get to know each other and is also through fellowship that we strengthen the bonds with one another and ultimately is through fellowship that we get to meet with one another just like where we get to meet our abba father in cg and service. Well is just something that is bothering me. What can we do? I believe in the power of one! If no one wants to do it, let it be that I will do it and make it come to pass.Labels: thought
