For 20 years, I thought of venturing into some business that interest me, the one that interest me for the past 20 years would b to one day take over my dad business. Few weeks ago, Shang talk about trying to bring a brand from Malaysia over to Singapore. I seriously gave a thought about it and decided that I wanna b his partner if the proposal is being accepted. After that my mind was filled with the possibility of being a sole distributor. I did some research..wanted to write in to a Spanish Apparel Brand about the possibilty of bringing it over to Singapore but can't seem to find any except for those High End brand names. Was kind of thinking of a franchise proposal with Swedish H&M but they were not keen in franchise. I thought everything is over..but came across an article and happen to stumble on a ______ firm. So now I have already send them an email and I pray with all my might that I can receive a reply and start on my proposal. If everything goes well..maybe this can be my foundation and stepping stone for future.Young and cash strap as I may be...but today dinner with my mom..where she said this..even if you really don't want to continue and want to work and if you have any good idea just submit a proposal, your dad will help you financially. Though I must admit I may not enjoy great relationship with my dad all the time but I am thankful for a dad like him. This conversation with my mom made me dare to dream big and do something that I never ever would dream about. Hopefully all things goes down well. Labels: Proposal
